As a child, Lauren Reitsema was forced to contend with the devastation of divorce when her parents separated after almost 20 years of marriage. She now draws upon that formative experience and the lessons she learned from it to help others build relationship skills. On this broadcast, Lauren focuses on the difficult challenges faced by divorced parents in trying to sustain and cultivate a relationship with their children. Offering hope and practical guidance, she helps parents to deal with grief – both theirs and their children's – and to build a new framework in which their relationship with their kids can thrive.
