Les Miserables has been called the most important novel of the 19th century. This audio drama illustrates a tale of war and revolution, a touching love story, and a tale with some of the most memorable characters you'll find in any work of fiction. Most of all, it's a story about a desperate thief whose life is changed forever when a kind bishop, catching him in the act of stealing precious silver, forgives him. Accustomed to living only for himself, Jean Valjean becomes a kindhearted man who helps a dying woman, cares for her child as if she were his own...and puts his life on the line to help an innocent stranger. Les Miserables tells of the triumph of good over evil, of love over hatred, and of mercy over the letter of the law.

What is Radio Theatre? Radio Theatre is the bridge between film and audio books in the format of a dramatized, purely acoustic performance. It is an immersive experience for listeners to imagine the characters and the story through dialogue, music and sound effects. Unmatched, Focus on the Family?s Radio Theatre is award winning with performances from internationally acclaimed actors. More than an audio book, it is a movie that plays on the biggest screen of all... your imagination.

    We love Radio Theater

Our family loves Focus on the Family Radio Theater. We listened to Chronicles of Narnia on a road trip and now I think our 8 year old has it memorized. Our 15 year old bought Les Miserables with her birthday money. Quality productions the whole family can enjoy!

    Absolutely Incredible!

This is one of the two best audio dramas I have ever heard! The cast is amazing! Each one of them deserves unending praise for their work on this project. Paul McCusker did an incredible job taking the 1400 page epic story and fitting it into three hours of wonderful audio. This project is worth far more than the number on the price tag!
