Exposing young children to the gruesome details of Jesus' execution is challenging, leading many parents to quickly fast-forward to the joy of Resurrection Sunday. As parents, our temptation is to shield our kids from hard emotions like anger, sadness, and shame. And yet, kids will experience those emotions – just like Jesus' disciples did.
