Kristin Schell wanted to become more intentional about reaching out to her neighbors with friendship and God's love. One day, on a whim, she put a turquoise-colored picnic table in her front yard as a way of inviting them over for meals and conversation. The book became a best-seller and spawned a worldwide 'Turquoise Table Movement.'
