When Ryan and Selena Frederick took a dream job in Switzerland just two years into their marriage, the young couple never anticipated they'd be facing a near tragedy. Ryan became very ill and learned that he had a bacterial growth in one of his heart valves that would require open-heart surgery. On the positive side, though, this experience opened Ryan and Selena's eyes to the need for becoming more intentional in their marriage, to place Christ at the center, and to pursue each other in His love.
