Offering God's Love to Children Without Families (Digital)

Darren and Stacey Gagnon share the origins of their remarkable family – they have 7 kids total; 2 biological, 3 adopted from foster care, and 2 more adopted from overseas. The 5 adopted kids all have special needs. The Gagnons were simply obedient to God’s calling when they learned about kids in foster care needing families. So they fostered over 30 kids. And today they are providing a loving family experience to their children, though they describe the challenges of helping kids who’ve experienced abandonment and trauma. As a family, they wrote a children’s book for one of their sons, Joel, who was embarrassed when other kids stared and pointed at him. The Gagnons want children to know that other people “look different” and that’s OK. Darren and Stacey are advocates for orphans and special needs kids in the writing, speaking, and training they provide through their “Lost Sparrows” ministry.
