From the time we opened the package, our three oldest kids (10, 8, and 6) have not stopped paging through and reading this Bible! They are of course thrilled to see their favorite Adventures in Odyssey characters on every page, but more importantly, they're eager to read the text itself! I was surprised at how similar the translation seems to what I'm used to, and yet the word choice and phrasing make it much more understandable for the kids. My six year old read a whole chapter of 2 Samuel to me last night, and the older two are reading entire Epistles! We're already having great discussions about what they're reading in the text and the sidebars. They all love being able to understand what they're reading, and we love that they're excited to be reading the Word! 100% recommend.
My grandson loved it and his 8 yr old sister wanted one because she can understand it more easily then her other bible! They LOVE odyssey!
This bible arrived in perfect condition. I was happy to find this bible for my grand daughter. Her mother had one as a child and we all enjoyed it. We had all the Adventures in Odyssey movies and recommend them too.
