Keeping Your Family Healthy

Dr. Scott James has a passion to help families integrate faith with their health and well-being. He often treats patients and their families who are dealing with tremendous fear, and with the aid of his background training as a pastor, he offers a perspective of biblical truth and compassion for whatever struggles these families may be facing. On this Focus on the Family broadcast, Dr. James offers a three-step approach to such families: 1) Acknowledge their pain; in other words, let them feel like they are heard. 2) Provide a firm foundation of Bible-based truth. 3) Remind them about their community – that they are not alone in their sickness. Dr. James concludes with some general health tips for families.
